Unlike any other event you've attended before, come see WWII against the backdrop of rolling hills,

winding roads and a large stone castle built in 1928 by Walter Strong. Stronghold Castle boasts large halls, 

winding staircases, and hidden passageways. Come explore the living history displays and camps 

nestled in and around the castle walls. Never has WWII been so alive!

We regret to announce that this year’s event is cancelled due to various conditions out of our control. Please mark your calendars for May 17-19th, 2019 for a full armed services weekend! We will be working closely with the city of Oregon, IL to integrate more activities, impressions, and public outreach! We look forward to making next year a success, stay tuned!
